Éli Savoie-Levac is an audio engineer specialised in mixing live sound. He grew up outside Montréal, in the heart of Québec province, in a very musical family. From an early age, Eli was surrounded by amazing musicians and got to hear them live on stage as well as at house parties. As a young boy, he played drums and later found his way to the bass guitar, which he also studied in college. After two years studying jazz/pop bass, he started to be interested in mixing sound. From 2007, Eli mixed a huge variety of musical styles in several venues and festivals in Quebec (Salle Rolland-Brunelle, Club Soda, Festival Mémoires et Racines, etc..). This is where he learned his craft and it shaped him as a sound engineer. In 2014, he started touring full time with Québécois power trio De Temps antan in North America and Europe. Since then, he has toured around the world extensively with several bands, such as Vishtèn, Le Vent du Nord, Rosier (formerly Les Poules à Colin), La Bottine Souriante, Galant Tu Perds Ton Temps, Kongero, Fru Skagerrak, The Duhks, Breabach and more.
Over the last few years, he also developed his skills as a recording/mixing engineer. He worked on projects by artists in Canada, Sweden, Scotland and the USA.
